Why we're here.

We created this blog, because on a regular basis, we get questions that are so basic and elementary that we stop and have to wonder what the person was thinking. These aren't just from people who are cruel or uncaring about human liberty or dignity, but from friends, family, lovers, neighbours, coworkers, and others that we interact with on a daily basis. We wanted this a place to be a safe space for people to have discussions about gender, sexuality, and related topics. There are a couple of rules that the authors have agreed to abide by.

1. All content must be your own. While it's OK to reference other articles, I'd rather be an effort of individuals who care enough to speak about it intelligently, in their own words. You may rarely see a link outside of the GenderFAQ blog, but chances are that it'll all be our own work.

2. Posts are made in a question-and-answer format. We post the question first, and then put the response as if we were answering it.

There are just too many times when you're in the middle of something more important, and would like to give someone more time and explanation, but simply can't. This is your chance to give it some more thought, and reflection. I don't have to get into having respect for all people, because the people who post here are well on that path already.
